Not sure why I did this.. just something I thought about while taking the dog for a walk

Very interesting.. I like the concept and the contrasting colors. I like how you did the clouds too, all creamy/-like... The eagle is a nice touch too, good work!

Interesting, but I think there's room for improvement - the contrast between the sky and the face could be exercised with more advantage. As is, the sky is uninvolving - it could participate in the composition more actively.

Thank you all for the feedback.
I also had a feeling that the sky may be a little unengaging but I decided that it works the way I want it to. I wanted the character and the environment to be somewhat detached from each other. I think this detachment helps reinforce the mood I am trying to capture with the piece.
